Have Questions?

Hijama or cupping therapy, is an ancient practice where cups are placed on the skin to create suction, promoting blood flow, pain relief and detoxification.

The treatment involves applying cups to specific body points, creating suction with a hand pump. Small, superficial incisions are made using a sterile, disposable instrument. Cups are reapplied, and suction is applied again to draw out and safely dispose of toxic blood.

Cupping therapy is therapeutic and generally not as painful as it seems. Some areas of the body may be more sensitive, leading to minimal discomfort, especially when scratches are applied to the skin. Overall, the treatment is well-tolerated and provides relief without significant pain.

The process is efficient, providing therapeutic benefits without taking up too much time while addressing the specific needs of the individual.

Dry cupping and massage cupping can be done at any time. Wet cupping, in urgent cases, can also be performed anytime, though some prefer it during specific times of the lunar month.
